Description:
As per reports, a fire has been reported in a six-storey residential block in downtown Auckland on Tuesday (01 July). Fire tenders reached the building on High Street. The fire broke out in the laundry on the first floor.
Fire and Emergency informed that eight trucks, including two ladder trucks, and a command unit have been at the scene.
Impact:
While the flames have been doused, clearance operations are likely to cause cordons. Traffic restrictions can be expected on the High Street for commuters.
