Description:

As per reports, a boat capsized in the Ganga river in Jharkhand’s Sahibganj district on Saturday (02 August). It was reported in Maharajpur Gadaidiara under the jurisdiction of Ganga River Police Station. One casualty and three missing people have been reported so far. Further details are currently awaited.

Impact:

Increased security deployment is expected in the area until rescue and clearance operations are completed. Local police may issue traffic restrictions until further notice. It is advised to remain abreast of the same and make travel plans accordingly.
