• Slight Risk (level 2/4) of excessive rainfall over parts of the New Mexico and Kansas until Wednesday (02 July).
• Isolated rainfall and thunderstorms are forecast over parts of Northern California and Oregon on Tuesday (02 July).
• High temperatures are anticipated across Western US, with excessive heat warnings in effect for southern Arizona and southeast California, and heat advisories for parts of the Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, California, Washington, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC on Tuesday (02 July).
• Dry conditions in the West continue to support fire weather threats, with Red Flag warnings issued for northern California and the Great Basin.
• Heat Advisories have been issued over parts of Washington State, Oregon, and Idaho through Tuesday (02 July) evening.
