As per reports, he death toll from the bus accident in Almora, reported on Tuesday (05 Novemver) has increased to 38 after two injured individuals succumbed to their injuries at AIIMS Rishikesh. The bus, carrying passengers returning to work after the Diwali holiday, was traveling from Dhumakot in Pauri Garhwal district to Ramnagar in Nainital, approximately 72 km away.

• On the morning of the incident, the bus departed from Kainath village, Dhumakot, heading towards Ramnagar.
• 13 injured passengers were airlifted to AIIMS Rishikesh; of these, six have been discharged, two have died, and the remaining are still undergoing treatment.
• Initial findings indicated that the bus lost control while navigating a hilly stretch of the road.
