As per reports, Meteolux has issued yellow and orange heatwave warnings across north and south of Luxembourg which will be in effect between 1200 hours to 1859 hours (local time) on Monday (12 August) and Tuesday (13 August).

• In the areas under the yellow weather warning in the north, which include Diekirch and Clervaux, maximum temperatures will be between 30 – 33 degrees Celsius.
• In areas under the orange weather warning maximum temperatures will be between 32 – 35 degrees Celsius in the south of the country including Luxembourg City, Esch-sur-Alzette, and Remich. In the Moselle Valley and urban areas, temperatures can very locally exceed 35 degrees Celsius.
