As per reports, with temperatures nearly reaching 50 degrees Celsius, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on Wednesday (05 June) launched a comprehensive car safety campaign aimed at promoting vehicle maintenance and reducing the risk of accidents. The department also urged drivers to ensure their vehicles are regularly inspected.

• As part of an awareness campaign, the RTA shared a safety guideline urging motorists to check the condition of the following: Tyres, Brakes, Oils, Cooling fluids, Air -conditioning systems, Batteries, Lights and Windshield wipers.
• The RTA emphasized that oil should be inspected for water leaks. While annual vehicle inspections are required when renewing licences, drivers are still responsible for regular inspections throughout the year, the authority highlighted.
