As per reports, South Africa’s power utility Eskom implemented an alternating pattern of Stage 02 and 03 load shedding across the country until Thursday (14 March).
• The new load shedding schedule came into effect on Tuesday (12 March), due to the loss of three generating units and the delay in returning a further three generating units to service.
• On Wednesday (13 March), Stage 02 load shedding will be implemented from 0500-1600 hours (local time), following which Stage 03 load shedding will come into effect from 1600 hours (local time) till 0500 hours (local time) on Thursday (14 March).
• According to Eskom, this alternating pattern of Stages 02 and 03 load shedding will be repeated daily until further notice.
