As per reports, German farmers are set to intensify their protests starting in Munich from Monday (08 January) causing widespread disruptions across the country until 15 January.
Long convoys of slow-moving agricultural vehicles are expected in city centres along with demonstrations outside government offices.
• The week long action is scheduled to start in Munich on Monday (08 January ) with significant participation.
• Demonstrations are also scheduled in Augsburg on Wednesday (10 January), and in Nuremberg on 12 January.
• The week-long campaign is expected to end in Berlin on 15 January with significant participation from farmers across Germany.
• Other professional categories within the agricultural sector (but not limited to) are reportedly considering joining the nationwide farmers strike. However, no official information of organizations participation has been made available as of Thursday (04 January).
