As per reports, the General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a weather advisory, urging the public to exercise caution and prioritize safety measures due to the expected thunderstorms in various regions of the Kingdom from Tuesday (02 January) to Friday (05 January).

• According to the Directorate, the Makkah region is expected to experience medium to heavy rainfall, potentially leading to flooding and a drop in temperature.
• Additionally, high-speed downward winds capable of stirring up dust are in forecast for Al-Laith and Al-Kunfudah. Other affected areas include Riyadh, encompassing Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Shaqra, Al-Mamjamaa, and Ramah, as well as the northern border areas, Ha’il, Al-Qassim, Al-Sharqiya, and Asir.
• The weather conditions are predicted to bring medium rainfall and active-speed downward winds to the Mecca region, covering Taif, Maysan, Adm, Adham, Al-Adiyat, Soil, Al-Muwaieh, Al-Khurmah, Raniya, and Al-Jawf areas.
• Light to medium rainfall and active descending winds with dust are expected in various parts of Riyadh, including Al-Jumwm, Al-Kaml, Jeddah, Rabigh, Bahra, Khalis, Thadiq, Marat, Al-Mazah, Al-Hiriq, Al-Hiq, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Al-Kharj, Dharma, Diriyah, Huraymala, Afif, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Quwayya, the northern border areas, Hail, Al-Sharqiyah, and Medina.
