As per reports, Youth Congress workers held a protest against Transport Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar at the Thampanoor bus stand in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday (11 March), and demanded the minister’s resignation.

Following this, a clash broke out at the Thampanoor depot between the police and protesters, and the situation reportedly escalated when police tried to arrest and remove the activists on the charge of assaulting a policeman during the protest.
