As per reports, the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) issued a yellow alert for storms, elevated temperatures, and strong winds across parts of Buenos Aires Province, La Pampa, Córdoba, San Luis, Mendoza, Jujuy, Salta, and Neuquén on Friday (19 December).

Reports indicate wind speeds of 45-55 kilometres per hour, with gusts exceeding 90 kilometres per hour in parts of southern Mendoza and northern Neuquén are expected, while storm activity may bring short-duration rainfall of 30-70 millimetres and temperatures exceeding 32 degrees Celsius in some affected areas.
