As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) issued a yellow code alert for heavy rainfall in southern Bulgaria on Saturday (14 February).

• Accumulations of 20 to 40 millimeters locally are forecast, with the heaviest showers in coastal and southeastern zones.
• Thunderstorms and brief gusty winds are expected with reduced visibility.
• The affected areas include Burgas, Sliven, Yambol, Haskovo, Kardzhali, and Smolyan.
