The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has issued yellow and blue flash flood alerts for parts of China on Wednesday (30 September).
• Yellow alert: A higher probability of localised flash floods is forecast in parts of northern Guizhou.
• Blue alert: Flash floods are possible in parts of western Hubei, northeastern Chongqing and northern Guizhou.
• Localised heavy rainfall may also trigger flash floods outside the designated warning areas. Authorities have urged real-time monitoring, timely flood warnings and arrangements for evacuation and shelter.
