India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert for hot day, thunderstorm, lightning and squall in parts of Maharashtra on Saturday (28 March). Hot day is forecast for Mumbai city and suburban, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg. Thunderstorm, lightning and squal is forecast for Sindhudurg, Satara, Kolhapur, Solapur, Osmanabad, Latur, Beed, Nanded, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bhandara, Nagpur, Wardha.
