As per reports, the All-India Mahila Sanskritik Sangathan (All-India Women’s Organisation for Upholding Tradition / AIMSS), has organised a protest campaign in Gujarat against the relaxation of the prohibition on liquor in the Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) city greenfield business district of Surat.
After conducting several protests between 27-29 December, the group plans to launch a signature campaign from Monday till Friday (01-05 January 2024), which will be followed by a citizens’ public meeting in Ahmedabad on Saturday (06 January 2024).
