As per reports, the National Weather Services (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning for parts of California, expected to remain in place through 1200 hours (local time) on Friday (07 February).
• Expect heavy snowfall above 3,000 feet, with an additional three to eight inches accumulations, and up to a foot in higher elevations. Winds could gust up to 75 mph. The heaviest snowfall is expected through Friday (07 February) morning, with snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour at times.
• The warning is in effect for Burney Basin and Eastern Shasta County.
