• The fire is situated near the Carranza Memorial Historic Site within the Wharton State Forest in Shamong Township. As of 1200 hours (local time) on Friday (13 June), the fire has consumed approximately 100 acres and is zero percent contained.
• In response to the advancing fire, the Lower Forge Campground has been fully evacuated. Authorities have confirmed that, at present, no residential or commercial structures are at risk.
• The wildfire has prompted the closure of the Batona Trail between Carranza Road and Bulldozer Road. The cause of the fire remains undetermined at this time.

• The Lower Forge Campground evacuation remains in place. While no structures are currently threatened, officials are maintaining a cautious approach and continue to monitor the evolving situation.
