As per reports, the Bridge Creek fire burning near the Utah-Arizona border has grown to 2,219 acres as of Monday (23 June) following Saturday’s (21 June) red flag wind conditions.
Approximately 120 personnel are on the ground battling the fire alongside air resources, hand crews, water tenders, and fire engines.
• Though evacuations are not yet in place, the American Red Cross is on standby, and evacuation zones have been identified.
• As of Monday (23 June) morning, the Northern Arizona Type 2 Incident Management Team has taken over fighting the fire, officials say.
