As per reports, the Ryazan region is predicted to record the impact of Cyclone Bernd, which is expected to bring heavy rainfall and ice. The main directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Ryazan region has issued a weather warning for the same through Tuesday (07 January).

Heavy and prolonged freezing rainfall are forecast to occur east of Moscow, including in the Ryazan region, as well as in the Vladimir, Ivanovo, Nizhny Novgorod and Penza regions, and in Mordovia.
