As per reports, rainfall and thunderstorm is forecast in most parts of Kazakhstan on Friday (02 August). Strong wind will impact the country, with foggy conditions likely over northern areas in the morning hours.

• Fervent heat is forecast for Almaty, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Zhetysu, Ulytau, Abai regions, as well as south of Karaganda and desert areas of Turkistan region.
• Fire hazard remains high in Zhambyl, Almaty, Karaganda, Ulytau, Zhetysu, Abai regions, in the southeast, south, center of Aktobe region, in the north, south and center of East Kazakhstan region, in the south of Pavlodar region, as well as in the south and east of Akmola region.
• Extremely high fire hazard is anticipated in Mangistau, Kyzylorda, Turkistan regions, southwest and southeast of Atyrau region, south of Kostanay region, west and center of Almaty region, west of Ulytau region, southeast of Zhetysu region, northwest, southeast of Zhambyl region, south and center of Abai region.
