As per reports, the Kenya Meteorological Department has forecast largely sunny conditions across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours, with isolated rainfall expected in selected counties on Saturday (14 February).
• Counties including Kakamega, Kisumu, Kisii, Migori, Homa Bay, Kericho, Nandi, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu and Trans Nzoia are expected to experience sunny intervals in the morning followed by afternoon rainfall and thunderstorms in some areas.
• Areas such as Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot and Narok may observe partly cloudy skies with a possibility of isolated rainfall later in the day.
• Counties including Nyeri, Murang’a, Kirinyaga, Embu, Meru, Kiambu, Tharaka Nithi, Laikipia, Nyandarua and Nairobi are projected to experience partly cloudy conditions with possible light rainfall in select highland areas.
• Strong southeasterly winds exceeding 25 knots are forecast in Turkana County, with similar wind speeds expected in parts of Marsabit County.
