The Meteorological Service Singapore has issued a weather forecast on Tuesday (17 February) for thundery showers and rainfall over many areas in the afternoon and evening hours. Weather conditions are likely to remain the same until Thursday (19 February) with moderate showers.
Weather conditions are being influenced by the prevailing north-east monsoon, which is expected to persist, with winds predominantly blowing from the north-west or north-east. Overall rainfall during this period is forecast to remain near average across most parts of Singapore.
