Thai Meteorological Department has predicted widespread heavy rainfall on Monday (19 August). Isolated heavy rainfall is likely in the North, the upper Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, the East, and the South.

The wind and waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about one meter high and above two meters high in thundershowers and offshore.

• Northern – Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Tak, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Minimum temperature 24-27 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 33-37 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 5-15 km/hr.
• Northeastern – Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum and Nakhon Ratchasima. Minimum temperature 24-26 degress Celsius. Maximum temperature 31-36 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
• Central – Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Saraburi, Samut Songkhram and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Minimum temperature 26-27 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 34-37 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
• Eastern – Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-27 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 33-36 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above two meters high in thundershowers offshore.
• Southern (East Coast) – Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-27 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 33-37 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about one meter and above two meters high in thundershowers offshore.
• Southern (West Coast) – Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-26 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 32-34 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about one meter and above two meters high in thundershowers offshore.
• Bangkok Metropolitan – Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in the afternoon to evening. Minimum temperature 26-28 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature 35-36 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
