The Thai meteorological department has forecast heavy rainfall in parts of Southern Thailand on Wednesday (06 November).

The monsoon trough lies across the middle South with the low-pressure cell and will move past the monsoon trough to the Andaman Sea. The northeasterly monsoon prevails over the upper Gulf and the upper South with isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the South. A moderate to rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool in the morning along with thundershowers is forecast in parts of the North and Northeast region. Isolated thundershowers are likely in the eastern regions and the lower central region.

• North: Isolated thundershowers and gust wind in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang and Tak.
• Northeastern: Isolated light rains mostly in the lower part.
• Central: Isolated thundershowers mostly in Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon and Nakhon Pathom.
• Eastern: Isolated thundershowers mostly in Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
• Southern (East Coast): Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
• Southern (West Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, and Satun.
• Bangkok Metropolitan will likely remain cloudy with isolated thundershowers on Wednesday (06 November).
