As per reports, the Centro de Estudios Atmosféricos Oceanográficos y Sísmicos (CENAOS) has forecast variable weather conditions, including rainfall and thunderstorms, across Tegucigalpa on Wednesday (16 September) from 1300 hours local time (1900 hours UTC) to 2000 hours local time (0200 hours UTC).
• Intermittent rainfall is expected during afternoon and evening hours, accompanied by cloudy conditions and moderate humidity.
• Daytime temperatures are forecast to reach 27 degrees Celsius, while nighttime lows are anticipated to drop to 18 degrees Celsius.
• Reportedly, wind gusts may reach speeds of up to 25 kilometres per hour during storm activities in exposed areas of the city.
• Reports indicate that seasonal weather patterns continue to maintain elevated moisture levels across the Francisco Morazán department.
