Water supply suspension announced in parts of Pune, Maharashtra on Thursday (12 February)

As per reports, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a complete shutdown of water supply from 1000 hours (local time) to 0000 hours (local time) in South Pune on Thursday (12 February), due to urgent maintenance work at Phase One of the Vadgaon Water Treatment Plant.

• Affected areas include: Hingne, Anandnagar, Vadgaon, Dhayari, Dattanagar, Dhankawadi, Katraj, Bharati Vidyapeeth Campus, Kondhwa Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd and Badruk, Yewalewadi, Sahakarnagar, Ambedkarnagar, Date Stop, Satchit Mata Tank, Santoshnagar, Wonder City, Morebag, Balajinagar, Sukhsagar Nagar, Rajas Society, Utkarsh Society, and Warkhedenagar.
• Authorities have further cautioned that water supply on Friday (13 February) may resume with delays and low pressure, as the system stabilises post-maintenance.
