Water supply outage scheduled across parts of Bangkok from Wednesday to Thursday (27-28 May)

According to reports, the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority (MWA) announced that water supply will be weak or temporarily unavailable from 2100 hours (local time) on Wednesday (27 May) to 0500 hours (local time) on Thursday (28 May).

The disruption is due to urgent repair work on a broken main water pipe at Phra Sumen Road near the Ratchadamnoen Klang Road intersection.

• Affected areas include both sides of Phra Sumen Road from Phan Fa Lilat Intersection to Phra Sumen Fort; Boworn Niwet Road; Ratchadamnoen Klang Road; Mahannop Road; Phra Athit Road; Chakraphong Road; Tani Road; Rambuttri Road; Khao San Road; Phra Chan Road; Lak Mueang Road; Tanao Road from Boworn Niwet Road to Si Kak Sao Chingcha Intersection; and Dinsor Road from Wan Chat Bridge Intersection to Sao Chingcha Intersection.
• The outage will also affect Bamrung Mueang Road from Si Kak Sao Chingcha Intersection to Sao Chingcha Intersection; Chao Fa Road from Phra Athit Road to Chakraphong Road; Ratchini Road from Phra Athit Road to Charoen Krung Road; Maharaj Road from Phra Chan Road to Tha Chang Intersection; and Phra Lan Road from Tha Chang Intersection to Ratchadamnoen Nai Road.
• Other affected areas include the road in front of Wat Phra That from Na Phra Lan Road to Ratchini Road; Ratchadamnoen Nai Road from Na Phra Lan Road to Phan Phiphop Lila Intersection; Samsen Road from Bang Lamphu Intersection to Sang Hi Intersection; and Wisut Kasat Road from Bang Khun Phrom Intersection to the Chao Phraya River.
• The outage will also affect Krung Kasem Road from Thewet Intersection to Thewet Pier; Ratchawithi Road from Sang Hi Intersection to the Chao Phraya River; and Sri Ayutthaya Road from Si Sao Thewet Intersection to the Chao Phraya River.
