As per reports, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) has announced a 36-hour disruption in water supply across several areas of Hyderabad starting from 0800 hours (local time) on Saturday (07 March) until 2000 hours (local time) on Sunday (08 March).

• The disruption is due to replacement of electrical panels at the Manjira Phase-03 Peddapur pump house, which supplies drinking water to the city.
• Water supply to the Shaikpet reservoir will be completely stopped during the maintenance period. Authorities have stated that some areas will experience a complete disruption in water supply, while others will receive water at low pressure.
• Affected areas include Manikonda, Kokapet, Narsingi, Manchirevula and nearby localities.
