As per reports, water supply across several areas of Faridabad has been affected from 1000 hours (local time) on Wednesday (13 May) and is expected to remain disrupted until 2200 hours (local time) on Thursday (14 May).
• Officials from the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority stated that supply has been suspended for 36 hours due to the relocation of the Ranneywell water supply line number one near Bhatheja Temple on Mohna Road. The work is being carried out to cross a sewer line of the Municipal Corporation.
• Affected areas include Sector 22, Sector 23, Sector 25, Sector 55, Sector 58, Gounchi, Shaheed Park, JCB Chowk, Panchayat Bhawan, Jain Colony, Bheem Bagh, Subhash Colony, Unchagaon, Milk Plant, and Prem Nagar. Residents have been advised to store sufficient water during the disruption period.
