• The incident caused a large amount of water to shoot into the air, that damaged the roadway along Loma Verde Street near the reported location.
• Emergency and repair crews were seen working at the site around 1400 hours local time (2200 hours UTC) on Wednesday (11 March) to repair the damaged section of road and control the water leak.
• The break caused visible structural damage to the road surface at Loma Verde Street in Monterey Park, and the affected area was temporarily restricted while repairs were carried out.
