As per reports, the Cairo Drinking Water Company has announced a water cut-off in certain areas of city between 0900 and 1700 hours local time on Saturday (24 February).
• This includes Al-Khaleej Al-Masry Street and its branches, as well as the entire Hadayek Al-Qubba area, with reduced water in Masaken Al-Ahlam and the Al-Ashraf area in Al-Zawya Al-Hamra.
• The water cut is due to welding work on a 1000 mm diameter water line on Egyptian Gulf Street.
• Residents, government agencies, local units, bakeries, and hospitals have been advised to arrange for alternate water sources during this period.
• Drinking water trucks will be available in affected areas until work is completed, with requests accepted via hotline 125 or WhatsApp at 01206665125.
