As per reports, HungaroMet issued weather warnings for parts of the country due to high temperatures and conditions favourable for the development of thunderstorms on Monday (26 August).
• Thunderstorms are anticipated in Pest, Baranya, Fejér, Komárom-Esztergom, and Veszprém counties, with potential risks of lightning, strong winds, and hail.
• High average temperatures are expected across Bács-Kiskun, Békés, Csongrád-Csanád, Hajdú-Bihar, and Tolna counties with temperatures above 27 degrees Celsius.
• During the evening hours of Monday (26 August) leading up to Tuesday (27 August), thunderstorms may develop in the central areas of Transdanubia, spreading to a wider region.
