As per reports, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is scheduled to visit Meghalaya on a two-day tour on Wednesday (16 October). As part of his maiden visit to the state, he will attend a meeting at the State Convention Centre and also lay the foundation stone for Meghalaya Skill and Innovation Hub and partake in the signing of an MoU between the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Meghalaya government for promotion of entrepreneurship. He will also visit the Shillong IT Park and the under-construction Assembly building in New Shillong Township. On Thursday (17 October), Dhankhar will visit Sohra before departing for New Delhi.
