As per reports, the members of the Bharatiya Janata Party have scheduled a rally in Rajkot, Gujarat, on Tuesday (27 October) from 1630 hours (local time).
The following are the latest updates available:
• The march is scheduled to begin at Bahumali Bhavan Chowk and proceed through Rajkot’s main roads towards Trikon Baug.
• The march is expected to be led by BJP leaders Tarun Chugh and Gujarat BJP state president Jagdish Vishwakarma. Union ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and Nimuben Bambhaniya, along with other party leaders, elected representatives, and local functionaries, are also expected to participate.
• The march forms part of the BJP’s wider campaign to counter opposition criticism of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and allegations of electoral irregularities.
