• As of Sunday (11 August), nearly 2,300 heat related illnesses and 21 deaths have been reported. Seoul experienced its 22nd consecutive tropical night from Sunday (11 August) night into Monday (12 August).
• More than half of the cases reported were of heat exhaustion (54.6 percent), followed by heatstroke (21.6 percent) and heat cramps (13.5 percent).
