The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning across all districts of Tamil Nadu including Chennai, on Saturday (28 September).

The IMD has also issued a yellow alert for thunderstorms and lightning for all the districts across Tamil Nadu including Chennai, on Sunday (29 September) and Monday (30 September) as well.
