• Russian President Vladimir Putin held a five-hour meeting at the Kremlin with US envoy Mark Witkoff and Jared Kushner on Tuesday (02 December).
• Ukraine’s General Staff on Tuesday (02 December) has formally rejected Russian assertions that Moscow’s forces have captured the strategic town of Pokrovsk.
• Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Tuesday (02 December) that Moscow was prepared should Europe initiate a conflict, while simultaneously accusing European governments of attempting to undermine efforts to end the war in Ukraine.
