As per reports, updates on the Ukraine-Russia war as of Tuesday (03 March) are as follows:
• On Monday (02 March), the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a drone strike on the port of Novorossiysk in southern Russia, targeting an oil terminal, and drone debris damaged residential buildings and injured several people.
• On Monday (02 March), the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation reported that air defence systems destroyed 172 Ukrainian drones between Sunday (01 March) and Monday (02 March), with most interceptions over the Black Sea and Krasnodar Krai.
• On Monday (02 March), the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 145 combat engagements with Russian forces, with the heaviest fighting in the Huliaipole sector, where 34 attacks were recorded.
• On Monday (02 March), Russian forces carried out a ballistic missile strike on the Kryvyi Rih district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, damaging transport infrastructure, including a suburban passenger train.
• On Monday (02 March), in Donetsk Oblast, Russian shelling killed five people and injured thirteen, with strikes recorded in Kramatorsk and in Druzhkivka, damaging seven multi-storey residential buildings.
