As per reports, tornadoes have swept through central and southern parts of the US on Saturday (15 March), particularly affecting Missouri, Texas, and Oklahoma.

• The storm system resulted in at least 36 fatalities across seven states as of Sunday (16 March), with Missouri reporting the highest number of deaths.
• Power outages affected over 289,000 utility customers from Michigan to Georgia.
• Additionally, tornado watches were issued for parts of:
• Florida – Big Bend Florida.
• North Carolina – Cumberland, Edgecombe, Franklin, Granville, Halifax, Harnett, Johnston, Nash, Sampson, Vance, Wake, Warren, Wayne, and Wilson.
• South Carolina – Clarendon, Lee, Orangeburg, Sumter, Beaufort, Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester, Hampton, and Jasper.
• Georgia – Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Liberty, Long, and McIntosh.
• Ohio – Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson (OH), Monroe, Muskingum, Noble, and Tuscarawas.
• Pennsylvania – Forest, Mercer, Venango, Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, Westmoreland, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, Jefferson (PA), Beaver, and Lawrence.
• West Virginia – Preston, Tucker, Marion, Monongalia, Wetzel, Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, and Ohio.
