As per reports, Labour Party’s annual conference is being held in Liverpool from Sunday (28 September) till Wednesday (01 October) at the Arena convention centre. Alongside the event, multiple protests and demonstrations were reported to take place, primarily organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and related activist groups.

• Demonstrators criticized Labour’s policies on arms sales to Israel, its handling of Palestinian state recognition, and wider political positions under Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
• Protest gatherings have already been reported at St George’s Plateau and around the Liverpool docks, with chants, speeches, and marches drawing significant crowds.
• Union leaders and grassroots groups also voiced opposition to domestic issues such as the two-child benefit cap, adding further momentum to protest activity.
• Some campaigners directly targeted Labour representatives at the event, intensifying tensions.
• Given the symbolic importance of the conference, the demonstrations are expected to continue throughout the event’s duration, drawing media attention and increasing public visibility.
