As per reports, the following are the updates for the Israel-Hamas war as of Wednesday (07 May):

• Palestinians reportedly stated that they will refuse Israeli orders to leave their homes – after Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that Gaza’s population would be moved as part of a new round of military operations aimed at setting up a permanent Israeli occupation of the Gaza Strip.
• US President Donald Trump stated that he is not planning on visiting Israel at the end of a scheduled trip next week to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• Germany’s new chancellor, Friedrich Merz, expressed his concern about the Gaza conflict and stated that he would send his foreign minister to Israel this weekend (10-11 May).
• At least 22 people have been killed and 52 injured in an Israeli attack on a school sheltering displaced people in the Bureij refugee camp, as of Tuesday (06 May).
• A senior Hamas official stated that the armed group is not interested in further talks on a new Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal while Israel continues blocking aid and food to the Gaza Strip.
