As per reports, the Israeli military has reported that on Thursday (09 May) its fighter jets targeted military structures and alleged terrorist infrastructure affiliated with Hezbollah in the regions of Kafr Kila, Alma a-Shaab, and Yaroun located in southern Lebanon.

• Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob stated on Thursday (09 May) that Slovenia has commenced the procedure for recognising a Palestinian state, citing it as a strategic move to leverage efforts towards resolving the conflict in Gaza.
• The entrance to Mizpe Ramon remained closed on Thursday (09 May) following a six-hour delay caused by right-wing protesters obstructing aid trucks en route to Gaza.
• As per the Israel Defense Force’s (IDF) report, two projectiles landed in uninhabited areas in Shlomi on Thursday (09 May), located in northern Israel. Additionally, the report mentioned the successful interception of a hostile aerial target in northern Israel and the subsequent retaliatory strike against the origins of the projectile launches.
• Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Herzog stated that the decision by the US to withhold weapons from Israel is regrettable and conveys a misguided message to Hamas and Israel’s adversaries.
• Large number of protestors gathered outside the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv on Thursday (09 May), with participants calling for the release of hostages.
