As per reports, a severe heatwave warning remains in place for New South Wales as of Wednesday (27 November). Affected districts include Mid North Coast, Hunter, Metropolitan, Illawarra and South Coast Districts.

Meanwhile power is being restored to thousands of residents in the southern region. Power outages affecting more than 6000 customers were reported. Households and businesses in the Riverina region, including Wagga Wagga, Culcairn, Henty, Uranquinty and Holbrook were impacted.
