As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), yellow alerts for fog have been issued in all districts of Delhi on Saturday (30 December). In Noida (Gautam Buddh Nagar) and Ghaziabad, red alerts for fog and cold weather remain issued on Saturday (30 December).

• Amid dense fog disrupting flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport (DEL) over the past few days, Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that the ministry is coordinating with the airport authorities and airline companies to put in place measures to deal with the issue.
• 22 more flights were cancelled on Friday (29 December). Several flights bound for other destinations in North India were also cancelled due to visibility issues at the destination airport.
• At least 27 trains from various cities across the country faced delays while entering or exiting Delhi due to visibility issues on Friday (29 December), as follows: Mumbai CSMT-Amritsar Express, Farakka Express, Himachal Express, Brahmaputra Mail, MCTM Udhampur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla AC SF Express, Lucknow Mail, Danapur-Anand Vihar Terminal Jan Sadharan Express, Raxaul-Anand Vihar Terminal Sadbhavana Express, Jammu Mail, Padmavat Express and Kashi Vishwanath Express. Due to this, a huge rush of commuters was witnessed at the Hazrat Nizamuddin Station.
• The Delhi Traffic Police on Friday issued an advisory to commuters to use headlights, blinkers, ply within speed limits, and various other measures to avoid crashes or fatalities. The advisory can be availed at: https://x.com/dtptraffic/status/1740356143673929913?s=20.
