As per reports on Friday (13 December), the flood situation in Perak, Johor, and Terengganu is gradually improving, with a decrease in the number of victims staying in temporary relief centers (PPS), while Pahang recorded an increase in flood victims.

• In Perak, the number of flood victims has decreased to 220 people from 68 families in the Perak Tengah and Manjung districts, compared to 225 people on Thursday (12 December) evening.
• The Perak State Disaster Management Committee (JPBN) reported that of the total victims, 186 individuals from 57 families are staying at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Beruas, while 34 people from 11 families are sheltered at SK Teluk Kepayang.
• The Irrigation and Drainage Department (JPS) stated that the water level of Sungai Rui in Hulu Perak is at the warning level of 165.68 meters, compared to the normal level of 165.10 meters, and Sungai Bidor in Changkat Jong has a similar reading with a depth of 3.32 meters compared to the normal level of 2 meters.
• In Johor, the number of flood victims has decreased to 85 people from 26 families, down from 139 earlier in the evening.
• Three rivers in Johor have exceeded the warning level: Sungai Muar in Kampung Awat and Buloh Kasap in Segamat, and Sungai Sedili Kecil in Kota Tinggi.
• In Terengganu, the flood situation is improving, with the number of victims decreasing to 91 people from 18 families, compared to 230 earlier in the day. Two PPS remain open: SK Kampung Baru Kerteh and Padang Kemunting Community Centre.
• In Pahang, the number of flood victims increased tonight, with 32 people staying in three PPS, compared to only one victim earlier in the evening. These PPS are located in Temerloh and Bera, accommodating victims at Surau Kampung Lompat, SK Bukit Gemuruh, and Kampung Mengkarak Mosque.
