As per reports, explosive volcanic activity continue at Sangay Volcano in Ecuador on Tuesday (20 January), according to an advisory issued by the Volcanic Ash Advisory Center Washington.
• Forecast modeling indicated that the ash cloud would continue moving southwest through the next 12 hours, with a potential shift further south by 18 hours.
• Sangay Volcano has a source elevation of approximately 17,342 feet above mean sea level, contributing to rapid vertical ash dispersion.
