As per reports, the Federal Prosecutor’s Office has conducted searches across six German states and parts of Denmark in connection with an Eritrean terrorist group allegedly responsible for violent riots in Germany as of Wednesday (26 March).

• Reportedly, authorities have suspected 17 individuals of founding or being members of the domestic terrorist organization ‘Brigade N’Hamedu.’
• Reports suggest that there were riot incidents that resulted in numerous injuries to police officers, some of whom sustained serious harm and that some members view violence against German state institutions and law enforcement as a legitimate means of advancing their objectives.
• Authorities searched 19 properties across Germany, including locations in Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, and Rhineland-Palatinate. A simultaneous raid was conducted in Denmark. No arrests have been made so far.
