As per reports, the 12th edition of the Barcelona International Community Day is scheduled to be held on 25 October at the Barcelona Maritime Museum, located in the former Royal Shipyards.
• Organised by Barcelona City Council’s Directorate for International Economic Promotion, the event aims to welcome newly arrived international professionals and strengthen the connection between the international community and the city.
• The event is open to the public and is expected to run from 1000 hours local time (0800 hours UTC) to 1900 hours local time (1700 hours UTC).
• The event is expected to feature a trade fair with 77 exhibitors, including public entities, companies, associations, and educational institutions providing services related to relocation, housing, legal assistance, healthcare, language learning, and education.
• In addition, the Language Normalisation Centre will promote Catalan language and culture, while Torre Jussana will offer information on volunteering opportunities.
• A programme of nearly 60 activities is expected to cover practical guidance for new residents, language learning, cultural integration, entrepreneurship, employment support, and local engagement.
• Outdoor entertainment is expected to include traditional Catalan performances, live concerts, and global cultural displays. The venue will also host networking sessions, professional development workshops, and a children’s play area to accommodate families.
