According to reports, following are the updates on the air-quality index (AQI) in Delhi-NCR, as of Thursday (06 November);
• As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI as of 1600 hours (local time) on Wednesday (05 November) was as follows: Delhi – 202 (poor), Faridabad – 171 (moderate), Gurugram – 225 (poor), Ghaziabad – 207 (poor), Greater Noida – 187 (moderate), and Noida – 215 (poor). This marked a slight improvement in the AQI from 04 November.
• However, as per AQI.in, as of 0730 hours on Thursday (06 November), the AQI for Delhi stands at 767, Gurugram at 788, and Noida at 658.
• Reports suggest that a 25 percent increase in N95 marks has been recorded in stores and online platforms.
• Doctors have also reported a 20 percent increase in eye ailments in Delhi amidst a rise in pollution.
