As per reports, 60,244 newly recruited police constables will receive their appointment letters in Lucknow on Sunday (15 June).

• The ceremony will be attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
• The Traffic Directorate has issued instructions to implement diversion for heavy vehicles in 10 districts on Sunday (15 June). The districts where traffic diversion will be implemented include:
– Lucknow
– Kanpur City
– Rae Bareilly
– Sultanpur
– Fatehpur
– Sitapur
– Mahoba
– Unnao
– Amethi
– Jalaun
• Heavy vehicles coming from above mentioned districts towards Lucknow will be diverted to alternative routes so that there is no excessive traffic pressure towards the capital.
• Diversion will be implemented in Lucknow especially in Itaunja and Malihabad areas.
• Barriers and police force will be deployed at the diversion points so that vehicles can be sent on the designated routes only. Along with civil police, traffic policemen will also be deployed at these places.
• Selected candidates from different parts of the state will reach Lucknow, for which additional transport arrangements have been made from the districts. Special buses have been arranged in some districts, while in some places a plan has been made to bring them by trains.
